General requirements for the Cyso Cloud startup program
✓ Company incorporated less than 5 years ago
Your startup must be officially registered as a business entity and be no more than five years old from the date of incorporation. This ensures we’re supporting genuine early-stage companies during their critical growth phase.

We require a professional website that clearly explains your business, products or services.
✓ Clear growth plan and vision
You should have a well-defined strategy for scaling your business and a clear vision of where you’re heading. We want to support startups with genuine ambition and realistic plans for growth.
✓ Commitment to European data sovereignty
As a European cloud provider, we prioritise data sovereignty. You should share our values around keeping data within European jurisdiction and understand the importance of GDPR compliance and digital autonomy.
How to apply

1. Submit Application
Fill in our application form with details about your startup and what you're looking to build on cloud infrastructure.

2. Assessment & Interview
Our team reviews your application and arranges a short conversation to understand your needs and whether we're the right fit for each other. We will take between 5-7 business days to review your application.
3. Onboarding
Once accepted, you receive personalised onboarding, your credits allocation, and direct access to our engineering team from day one. 20 hours of help from our engineers who built the platform is included.
Apply to the Startup Program
Fill in the questionnaire to apply for the Cyso Cloud Startup program, and receive up to €10,000 in free cloud credits. We will review your application within 5-7 business days. The duration of this program is 18 months, during which you can utilise your allocated credits and access our support services.

Frequently asked questions about the Startup Program
We provide up to €10,000 in cloud credits per startup. The exact amount is determined after our assessment of your specific needs and usage requirements. Unlike other providers, we don’t operate in tiers but provide personalised allocations.
The program typically lasts 18 months, during which you can utilise your allocated credits and access our support services. We may extend this based on your startup’s progress and needs.
You can continue using our services at our standard pay-as-you-go rates. There are no lock-in contracts, and you can migrate away at any time thanks to our open standards approach.
Absolutely. We don’t impose exclusivity requirements. Many of our startup programme members use us as their European cloud provider whilst maintaining other services elsewhere for comparison or multi-cloud strategies.
You get direct access to our cloud engineers during office hours via email, or phone. No support tiers or escalations.
We typically review applications within 5-7 business days. If accepted, we’ll schedule an onboarding call and have you up and running within a week of approval.
Yes, guaranteed. All data remains in our Amsterdam and Frankfurt data centres, under European jurisdiction. We’re a Dutch company operating under European law, ensuring complete data sovereignty.
No. Startup Program credits can only be used towards Cyso Cloud services. They have no monetary value, can’t be exchanged, transferred, or paid out as cash, and can’t be refunded or credited against invoices for anything other than your Cyso Cloud usage. Think of them as fuel for building on the platform, not a cash grant.
Credits map one to one to euros. €2,500 in cloud credits is worth €2,500 of Cyso Cloud services, no conversion rate to work out. You spend them like real budget across compute, storage, Kubernetes and the rest of the platform.
